This is our bathroom under the stairs. Sorry Harry Potter, no room for a bed here. Although I can see how it would have been a torturous existence. Tiny and LOTS of spiders. In fact I think the national animal of the UK is the spider. So many of them. Good thing I'm not arachnaphobic.

Thanks for the pictures, especially capturing the excitement in their faces on the bus!!! Are you sure that those were your feet in those Toe Sandles!! Stones, no less!!! No wonder the kids were checking you out!
(My first obstacle will be the bus steps looks like!!) Ha Ha
Also, April, I thought that was neat picture of the Target sack in the waste basket next to the interesting toilet seat!! Those red dots just seem to stand out! I am glad that you are keeping a few American things put around the house so that the kids won't forget us that they are Americans!

So then the bathroom under the stairs is a "water closet" the room with tub is the "bathroom" if it does not have a toilet in it?
Gwen says that she thought NZ had the spider as the national animal. ;) We understand completely. That brings up a good point...does the windows there have screens?
