Marvelous Sunday Afternoon
Went to church this morning. Loud again, since there's no children's church or nursery. Except MY children were WELL-BEHAVED. They sat quietly and colored. SAT QUIETLY. So we treated them to lunch at McDonald's.
This afternoon the grocery store man delivered our order. How nice to not have to negotiate the store with children. Or the parking lot - with or without children.
As for Audrey's bag: it is the size and shape of a bowling bag, but it's made of canvas. It got it free with a magazine a couple of weeks ago and gave it to her. Let's not mention hair-care proudcts or crayons to her. Those are in the diaper bag. Really. Her princess hairbrush and 2 baggies of crayons live int he diaper bag. And she stole my cell phone bag that she gave me. It is a little purple pouch she got in a happy meal that's supposed to go on your upper arm to hold an MP3 player. I traded her a princess water bottle for it because it is the perfect size for my cell phone, but then she took it back. And there will be no beauty products in her bag - we have enough problems with her stealing mine - lip gloss, lipstick, lotion, hand goopy (sanitizer), etc.
I *have* wondered if the bag fixation is because of the packing up of stuff and subsequent move here with just a few things. But also I wonder if it's because she's a three-year-old girl. She's not really picky about what bag it is, either. It can be a worn-out old grocery bag for all she cares. It's about the contents.
So this is all for now. Just wanted to expound a bit more on Audrey's bag fixation.

I say "She is three and is lovable Audrey."
Nuff said. ;)
When my sis was 2ish, we discovered that she had a habit of picking up spare change around the house and stashing it in her diaper. :) Probably just some little girl thing. But Katie was always a better saver than the rest of us.
