Marvelously Untitled

It's Tuesday, 9.10 p.m. The kids are all tucked away in bed, and Steve is upstairs reading. I'm finishing up here to get to bed early - tomorrow we're heading off to Lego Land! It's an amusement park geared towards younger kids. One lady told me our kids are the perfect age for it.

No post yesterday because I had an awful headache! I went to bed right after dinner and was soon thereafter joined by Julie. She didn't want to be in her own bed, Steve was on the phone to the U.S., so I had to deal with her solo.

Nothing really interesting to report. Weather is nice - mid 70s during the day and cooler at night. It will be almost fully dark by the time I head up to bed in a few minutes, although it still gets bright early. I need to remember to put the kids' breakfasts in the fridge before I head up - we're training them to LEAVE US ALONE in the mornings when they wake up before we do. Caleb knows how to work the TV remote, so after breakfast, they can watch TV for a bit. Usually I'm downstairs before they get to this point, though.

So nothing either marvelous or fabulous to report. How about some pictures from our trip to London a few weeks ago?

Natural History Museum. Steve and the kids are to the right of the big dino.

This is a picture of a Rock Hyrax - for Terry. The whole time we were at this exhibit at the museum, they were piping in these horrible little screeching sounds that the hyraxes make. The kids were fascinated. I was a tad repulsed.
The animatronic T-Rex. Caleb was enthralled, Audrey was terrified, and Julie slept through it all.
From the museum: one reason why the dinos died out.
The kids at Kensington Gardens (London) on the Peter Pan statue.

Watch next for pictures of Lego Land and our trip back in July to Warwick Castle!
P.S. Did someone call us at 8 p.m. our time today (Tuesday) and leave a message? Or not leave a message? I got a weird fuzzy sort of message but couldn't figure out if it was an intentional message or a "might-as-well-hang-up-now" message.

Haha... I knew any mention of the hyrax would involve advice on NOT eating it. :) What a hideous little creature, I don't know if I'd be tempted to eat it anyway.
