The 8 Least Marvelous Words I Hear These Days...

...are
"Mommy, I just want to tell you that..." followed by anything from tattling to a statement of fact to a declaration of love to "uuummmmm" followed by silence. I probably hear this phrase from both kids about 100 times a day. It gets old. It's about as annoying as the phase Audrey went through where she would repeat the first word of her sentence or train of thought about 12 times. An example of this is, "I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I just wanted to tell you that there's a bug in here." It would take her about a minute to get this all out and if you interrupted her or tried to encourage her along, she would start over from the very first word and then repeat it 12 more times.

I'm going to go now and bathe stinky kids before they get dressed today. While they're in the bath I'm going to work on packing for the trip. Steve got his clothes all out before he left for work - he drove himself today. I'm all showered and dressed, but need to do hair & makeup so I can pack all that stuff. Julie will probably nap while the other 2 bathe if she can tolerate their noise. I'll put the radio in her room to drown them out hopefully. I'll try to bathe her later because she's sticky from the Honey Nut Cheerios she's starting to try to eat.

Speaking of the stinky kids, here they are. Audrey is wearing a pink necklace she bought from the £3 she got for her birthday from Nana & dc. It has little pink dolphins on it that poke her - I didn't foresee this, otherwise I would have dissuaded her from purchasing it.

Off to bathe the stinky stinkers!
