I Can Wait a Few More Hours for These Marvelous Things

Just got a call from the fella with the TV and dryer. His driver will be here at 1.15 this afternoon! Just 2 little hours away. I can wait that long. In addition to the TV and dryer, we're also renting 2 nightstands and lamps for me & Steve and 4 dining room chairs. The ones we have now are pretty sorry.

Mom - I just remembered. My friend Orla said "manky" the other day in reference to those little inflatable "paddle pools" as they call them. She said she just throws hers away at the end of the summer because they get all manky. I almost laughed out loud!

Going to run. I'm headed downstairs because it's getting warm up here. Supposed to be hotter today than yesterday and even hotter tomorrow. We're looking at temps of 33-35 C, which converts to 93-95. I heard on the radio this morning that it might even get to 100 F at some point. Makes me miss our swamp cooler.
