Caleb's Marvelous Retelling of His School Adventures

My first day at school was Friday.

My teacher, Miss Pells (pronounced "Pals") met me and Mom in the office 5 minutes after the other kids got to their classrooms. She took me by the hand and we went to my class. When we got there, she showed me where to put my stuff. I had a bag with a snack, a water bottle, and another bag with my P.E. clothes. I hung my bags on the hook.

After that, we sat in a circle in chairs and passed around a little bear. When you got the bear, you had to tell your name and your favorite thing to do. One kid is scared of sitting beside me at circle time. He's not sure if I will punch him or not. That's weird.

For lunch, I had pizza. I took too long eating so another teacher had to take me to my room. In the afternoon, we ran races and I won 3 times! I liked school. I fell down during the races and got my white shirt all filthy dirty, but Mom got it all the way clean yesterday.

Today was my second day at school. I got there at 8:50 just before school started at 8:55. It took me a while, but I found where my class was lined up waiting for Miss Pell. My favorite thing about today was getting candy.

We went to the computer room today. I did some activities about putting bug names to the pictures of the bugs. I got all the words and pictures matched right on the first try!

Some of the kids in my class are: Dylan (2 different Dylans), Harrison, Chloe, and Lilly.
