Feeling a Bit More Marvleous Today

I'm feeling better today. I have a headache and my nose is constantly running, but I feel better than I did yesterday. I was having a hard time breathing at bedtime last night, so I took a shot from my inhaler. Actually, I took 2 shots, but I didn't think the first one worked since I hadn't used it in so long. But when I woke up this morning with the shakes, I knew both shots worked. It's a long-acting inhaler so it didn't wear off until around lunchtime.

Good news for Gwen: we found some chili & rice meals that taste a lot like your chili. So you don't have to starve when Terry eats Indian with us when y'all come to visit. :) The lamb moussaka was awful, though. I feel smug because I talked Steve into getting the chili & rice - he only wanted the moussaka.

It's cooler again today and windy. Window blinds keep rattling around and doors keep slamming shut as the latest breeze comes through. But it's keeping things cooled off, so I'm not going to complain.

It rained a little also today. I sent Steve's raincoat with him and Audrey's with her this morning and at least I know Audrey used hers when I picked her up. I don't know if she used it any other time today. She still cries when I drop her off, but apparently cheers up very fast.

Caleb went to "Camp Adventure" today at our local leisure club (gym). They painted seascape murals (in groups of 3-4 kids) and were rollerskating when I dropped him off. I was tickled to see that he had Spiderman socks on while he was donning his skates - albeit 2 socks from 2 different pairs, but since when has that mattered? They were both Spiderman...

I've tried several times to upload Julie's 6 month pics to the blog, but it's not working. I'm going to keep working on it. In fact, I'm trying to upload now.

Her dress is bright pink, but you can't really tell from this picture. I have a feeling that the prints will be like this, too. Oh well. It's her face that matters, not how bright her clothes are, right?

If it doesn't work, I'll just wait until Wednesday. "Why Wednesday?" you may ask...that's when our DSL kicks in! Whoopee!

Our TV is still acting all wonky. I think we will have to get an aerial man in to look at it. I think I'll propose this option to Steve as an alternative to him climbing up there to mess with it. Hopefully he'll like the option.

Terry - I'm thinking you're right about "tea." Audrey's school serves breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and tea. I think it's a snack if it's earlier or a light dinner if it's later. So we had digestives (graham cracker-like cookies) with Nutella (chocolate and hazlenut butter) on them for tea along with Capri Sun (juice) drinks. It will keep the kids happy while we go get Steve - which is what we needed to have left to do 5 minutes ago. So we're off!

Julie you are so photogenic (spell). That is a great picture.

Digestives...I had forgot. There are several kinds if I remember right. The biscuits (cookies) tend to be less sweet and are good with tea, coffee, and so forth. I miss them at times. They are truly meant to help with digestions I think. Good right after a bit meal. :)

I found some here from Germany and got them for Steve and me but I pretty much ate them before I got back to work. I think it might have perturbed Steve a tad...hehe. Just could not help myself.

So have you guys been trying any fish and chips from a fish and chip dive? Or Chinese or Thai?

Julie is so pretty!!
My aunt bought me digestives while she was in London, they had chocolate on one side. Delish! Also, Nutella is very good on apples, and I found that if you microwave it you can pour it on some vanilla ice cream, VERY tasty.

The pictures are adorable of Miss Julie, but the theme looks like something else I have scene before!!! Ha Ha Can't wait to add it to my baby gallery!!! The only one that I don't have is Joshua so I guess we will just have to shrink him down and stick him under a blanket!!!
Sorry that you were sick, but hopefully you are feeling much better by now.
Cindy and Alan, with Jarrett and David, are leaving this morning for Houston. Miss Connor is staying here to keep us in line while Cindy and Jarrett are gone.
Love all of you greatly and look forward to hearing all of the news!
