Are We One Step Closer To Being Fabulously Marvelous?

As I write this, it is 12:43 p.m. I am in the lounge with the 2 big kids watching “Top Cat.” I got a call at 12:05 from the BT engineer asking if I would be home for a while. She said she’d be around in 30 minutes. She arrived 17 minutes later. I showed her all of the sockets and she asked where we wanted the live line. I told her 2 sockets, but she said she could only do one today. I don’t know if that means she is only authorized to activate one, or if we’re out of luck on having multiple extensions. We only want 2.

Anyway – she’ out in her van in the driveway now “pushing it through” – whatever that means. She fiddled a bit with the socket here in the lounge, then said she’d be back. I assume she’s in her van – she might have climbed up a pole for all I know, but the van is in the driveway. She left some equipment here hooked up to the socket and it beeps a little now and then.

As soon as I can connect downstairs, I am going to do the following:
1 – post this
2 – check e-mail
3 – look into broadband options.
