Marvelous Adventures in Texas

Thursday noon, in Texas.

I have 2 minutes until the mac & cheese needs attention. The kids are watching "Tom & Jerry" and generally just having fun. Yesterday we drove to Austin to visit Ecklund and watched "Ice Age 2". Afterwards, we went to Gatti-Land (like a much nicer Chuck E. Cheese's), ate dinner, played in the game room, watched "Toy Story 2" and drove home.

Today we have a full afternoon:
Visiting cousin Grace's dance class to watch the class's recital rehearsal. They are dancing to "God of Wonders". Grace is 4. After this, we will pop over to the A&M Campus to meet Reveille (collie mascot). I noticed that when I asked if my dad could arrange this in the past, it didn't happen, but when Audrey asked her grandpa the same thing, he made it work. Hmmmm. After meeting "Rev" I hope to take the kids out for a photo op in the bluebonnets.

I've been surfing around some more England sites discovering what kind of driver's license we'll need, what kinds of car seats we'll need, more rental house shopping. I believe I'm going to use a company called Romans to help us. So far they have the easiest website to navigate, the best descriptions/pictures of their homes, and the best homes. If you want to see what I've been seeing, go here: http://www.romans.co.uk/lettings_search.asp

So now I need to scoot to get ready for our afternoon of marvelous adventures!
Love,
April

P.S. Pardon any misspellings...short of doing some easy hocus-pocus that will take a while, I can't get the spell-check to work on this machine. Pop-up blockers and stuff.

All I want to know is why you were in TX and didn't say hi! :-( I guess we'll see you soon, but it would have been lovely anyway.
