Marvelous Adventures at 123 Rover
So we get home from Texas to discover that Steve has mostly constructed the fort portion of the kids' swingset that we bought them last summer (then ignored for almost a year). We got the slide, ladder, climbing "wall", and roof (tarp) attached and the big 2 kids are loving it! Steve comes home from work each evening and works until dark to get the swingset part put up. I think maybe tonight he might finish it after dinner at church.
Last night Caleb had his first soccer practice. He's one of 7 four- and five-year-0lds on the Storm. There are 7 teams in L.A. and W.R. and they will play each other over the next 6 weeks. The last game is on Mom's b-day (May 18 - we'll think of you while we are cheering Caleb, Nana!).
I'm going to have to go to Santa Fe this afternoon to get Julie's birth certificate. My application for hers got lost in the mail. Grrr. And we are going to start the passport process this afternoon after we get the certificate. I'm just wondering: how does a newborn sign a passport?
Anyway - off to do work now.
