If I Could Type A Groan...
I don't feel good. As soon as we got home from Horn Creek, Colorado, yesterday, my allergies went nuts. Literally the moment I stepped out of the Sequoia and breathed in the Los Alamos air (complete with juniper pollen), my nose started tickling and my throat started feeling icky.
I went to bed feeling totally lousy last night. Headache, stuffy nose, sinus pressure. I woke up feeling better, but my condition soon devolved. I finally had to take a Sudafed, which made matters worse. It was a non-drowsy tab, but I feel all wonky and woozy and my nose and throat are both still feeling weird.
On top of that, Caleb stayed home today because of tummy issues. So we didn't go to CBS this morning. Audrey was crushed and took it personally. I think Julie was the only one who had a totally nice day.
I spent the morning doing some housework stuff but gave up around 11:00 and sat in my chair in my room watching "Doctor Who" and knitting. Then I did the same for a good chunk of the afternoon. I just don't feel good.
Fortunately, Audrey had a meltdown and was banished to her room - she promptly fell asleep. Julie is down for her 2nd nap of the day (the weekend was tough on her), and I'm totally copping out and letting Caleb watch TV. I'm finishing up with this post now so I can go back to my room, sit, knit, and watch something on the TV.
Blech.
