Things I've Done Today Without Kids

- slept in. Sorta. Until 7:30 a.m.

- took a phone call from Caleb singing "Happy Birthday"

- cleaned up my office and filed papers.

- re-hung family photos in the living room. They were down because I painted a couple of months ago.

- washed a couple of windows.

- took a phone call from Steve asking me how late I slept in on my birthday

- switched out a doggie door (for the cat) for a screen in a window. Not hard. Just went to the shed, got the doggie door panel, took off a screen at ground level, and replaced it with the doggie door.

- took a shower.

- listened to a message from Auddie singing "Happy Birthday to my mother"

- called Auddie and heard her sing "Happy Birthday to my mother" again. I also heard how her ballet class went.

- ate lunch.

- worked out.

- went to the grocery store in Los Alamos.

- called Caleb to see how his science class went.

- went to the grocery store in White Rock.

- listened to my mp3 player while cleaning up the kitchen.

Now I'm going to make dinner, talk with Steve, and go to Lowe's to get a new kitchen faucet.

Sorry I didn't call and give you some music. We wound up spending the evening at an antique auction. I'll phone tomorrow and give you your obligatory (late) serenade.

April?! Wow...how's everything?! Do you remember me from Bear Camp? (Last name was McLenithan then...)
