Just Got Back
We went to Harry Potter #5 this afternoon. Just me and Steve. We wanted to go to the 12:30 show, but it was sold out. We got tickets for the 3:30 and showed up at 3:00 for seats. Good thing, too, since there were already about 30 people in the theater and there continued to be a steady stream until the movie started. Apparently that showing sold out fairly early, too.
Anyway, I decided the book was *much* better than the movie, as the case usually is. How can you condense a book that takes 17+ hours to read down to a 2-ish hour movie? Even with pictures painting thousands of words, there still were massive parts of the story cut out. And I didn't like Harry's new haircut. Made him look like a pin head. Literally. Made his head look too small for his neck. So maybe it's his neck's fault and not his hair's. Doesn't matter.
As I was watching the movie, I kept thinking about things I was going to write when I got home. Then I got home and changed my mind. I will only say one thing:
TONKS' HAIR NEEDED TO BE BRIGHTER. It wasn't as purple as it should have been.
So that's all I'm going to post right now. I'll come back later and fill you in on our Friday the 13th road trip. It lived up to the date.

Aaron and I went to see the movie on Saturday. I actually liked Harry's new "do" because he looked more grown up. Aaron has now started calling the twins Fred and George. If I'm carrying twin boys, I'm really hoping they will be a bit better behaved than the Weasley boys! But, with Aaron's smarts and my spunk, we just might be the proud parents of 2 redheaded boys that could bring the joy back to Hogworts! Only time will tell...
