Tonight's Haul

Every year our Chamber of Commerce sponsors "Trick or Treat on Main Street" the Friday before Halloween.

In other words, tonight.

We walked around downtown Los Alamos for 90 minutes and visited about 3/4 of the businesses that were participating in the event. Our grand total of candy was...

Seven pounds.

And it wasn't the cheap-o stuff like Dum Dum suckers and Smarties. At least half of the stuff is name brand chocolates - single bite size, "fun" size (2-3 bites), and, yes, we got 6 or 7 full-sized chocolate candy bars.

Julie got 1 pound 13 ounces, Audrey got 2 pounds 5 ounces, and Caleb got 2 pounds 14 ounces...7 pounds even. And Julie even ate 3 of her suckers on the way around town.

I'm going to bed now - I'm beat. I did 9700 steps before we went trick-or-treating. That was 3900-ish more steps. I'm tired. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

Caleb got as much candy as John weighs now. Julie got more candy than Walt or John weighed when they were born. All three kids got more candy than the Mighty Mights weigh together!
