Before I Get To Work

Just back from the dentist. Again, it was confirmed that we will be funding Porsche payments of some orthodontist through our children's oral care. Audrey's mouth is very small and crowded. We need to get her in to see someone by the time she's 6 - and that reminds me that I need to get Caleb in now. I think I'll take him to Steve's ortho. Might as well fund the same Porsche that we've started with Steve.

I was just on the Weight Watchers site. I reset my starting weight yesterday from 220 (from 2005) to 229 (June 2006). I figured I might as well have an accurate accounting.

So now my 10% goal has moved from 198 to 206. So I've already hit my 10% goal! I hit it a couple of weeks ago. Yay me! And since I was at 202.9 this morning, I've officially lost 27 pounds! YAY ME!!! I saw that 25 pounds is 3 gallons of milk. That's a lot! Yikes!
I'm 52 away from my goal. I'm 1/3 of the way there. That's just wild. Soon I'll be under 200 - I haven't been there since pre-Caleb. Seven years ago.

I've been thinking: both 25 and 27 are more than Julie - I think she's 23-ish. I've lost a toddler! Now when I lose 5 more pounds (32) I will have lost an Audrey, and when I lose 15 more beyond that (47), I will have lost a Caleb. After that I'll need to lose another Audrey and I'll be at my goal. Follow?

I'm going to scoot now and shine my bathroom sink and clean the counter. I'm listening to "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" again. I finished "Sorcerer's Stone" yesterday and I have all of #3 and half of #4 on a micro SD chip in my MP3 player. I think I can get all of 4, 5, 6, and YES 7 on my MP3 player. I should be receiving #7 soon - I bought it Tuesday on Ebay. Can't wait!

You go, Girl! We are proud of your hard work.

After spending 2 weeks with your kids, I don't see how anyone can lose weight and still feed children. Mac & Cheese, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, ... all so low cal/low fat! I didn't feed them as well as you do.

You do a marvelous job cooking nutritious meals for you fam. I am impressed with your menus. There are homecooked entres and lots of veggies. Your guys are great to eat fruit, veggies, and dairy products.

Anyway, your weight loss progress is terrific. Kudos to you, but not the candy bar kind.
