More Marvelous News About Julie

Just came back from Julie's 4-month well check. She's well! Got 4 shots and didn't cry until after the 3rd one, and then didn't cry long after the 4th. She weighs 13 lbs. 12 oz. and is 23 inches long. Last Monday, she was 23 1/2 inches long, but as my Gigi says, it just depends on how far the nurse stretches the baby when she measures.

The other piece of exciting news about Jujube is that she started eating rice cereal on Sunday! She is doing very well with it. Of course, she only eats a little bit a day, but she does well with that little bit.

We got our new stroller yesterday. Ironically, the name of it is the "London" by Chicco. I LOVE it! It's a fancy umbrella stroller and it's strong enough to hold Caleb, so I think we'll get 2 more and a set of umbrella stroller connectors and take all 3 to England. They fold up so much smaller than the ones we have now. I tossed the old single stroller - it kept trying to fold up with a child in it, the brakes don't work, and the mechanism that holds it together when folded is broken. So it gets a one-way trip to the dump.
