Marvelously Busy? Is It Marvelous To Be Busy?
Three weeks left. Can I get everything done? I had to calm myself down this afternoon when I started to freak out about everything that I thought I had to do. After I took a few minutes in prayer asking God to help me by calming me down and showing me what to get done, I felt much better. Plus I got everything done on "Wednesday's To-Do List".
We went to the post office this afternoon to mail a few things. Audrey wanted to stay in her princess dress, but I made her take off her "glass slippers". She did get to wear her Cinderella tiara, though. I figured it was no big deal to wear the dress because we were mailing her birthday party invitations - which were princess invitations. It was a big deal to her.
Caleb has a habit of not snapping or zipping his pants. He'd rather wear elastic-waisted pants. So today when he got up, he chose to wear some blue dress pants. I couldn't get him to change, so (again) I figured no big deal. While we were at the post office, he and Audrey were playing (meaning they were yelling and chasing each other), and his pants "fell down to my shoes". He was around a corner, so the other 2 ladies in line didn't see him (nor did I), but we all heard his story. I told him that streaking in the post office wasn't a smart thing to do.
If I weren't feeling lazy, I'd post a picture of Audrey sitting in the kitchen sink after our spaghetti lunch yesterday. She looked tiny because our sink is really deep. I could just see her head & shoulders. She had completely sauced herself and was very orange.
I'm going to sign off now and ask Steve to mix up some of his wonderful chocolate chip cookie dough. Yum!

I remember going to your house in high school and there were ALWAYS fresh cookies and a bowl of raw dough to munch too. :)
