Swim Lessons are Good for Housework Because...
...I have to do a load of laundry every day when we get back from the pool. So I don't think I'll get behind on laundry as long as we're swimming.
The kids are still enjoying their daily "specials" as Caleb is calling them. We do either art, cooking, science, or messy play every day and the 5th weekday they get to pick what they do from one of those 4 things. He calls them specials because that's what they call art, PE, music, library, and computers at his school. I think that's what they call them at all the LA elementaries.
So anyway, we just got finished with "kids' choice" and they did art. Caleb made a rocket - cutting and taping paper - and Audrey made an octopus/fish mobile for Julie's room.
That's all for now. Julie just woke up from her afternoon nap (I don't know if she ever went to sleep...) so I need to pay attention to my children now. That would be a good thing.

Oh - I just heard myself on a rerun of the Dave Ramsey show from March. It was weird.

Your Dave Ramsey reruns are weird. L heard your call re-run last week, and we heard a completely new show today.
I remember Specials! My favorite one was Library because that was the day I got to check out as many books as I was allowed. :) The librarian also read to us, and she must have been a good librarian because I remember almost every book she read.
