A Couple of Interesting Tidbits

1 - Julie tossed her sandal out of the stroller on the way home from swim lessons this morning. She usually takes them off and tosses them and I usually retrieve them, but I didn't notice our missing shoe until we got home. So I loaded all 3 kids into the car, retraced our walking route and didn't find the shoe. So I'm hoping that it's actually at the pool and is now in lost and found. We'll look tomorrow.

2 - Caleb figured out how to swim today! He put his head under water and kicked - 2 skills he's learned this summer, but has not put them together until this morning. He's VERY excited!

3 - In case you haven't read yesterday's post and my brother's comment on it, he and his wife are expecting...TWINS!!!! Her original due date was Christmas, but that was before they found the second baby yesterday. Now she's due Thanksgiving. Steve says that she's going to have to double her body weight (not really) in order to carry "Macaroni" and "Cheese" as Audrey has dubbed the babies. Or "Mac" and "Cheese Jr." since my kids call my brother Uncle Cheese.
