Blogging is Such A Marvelous Waste of Time!
It's 1.31 p.m. Or 13.31 as it's displayed over here. I'm not that crazy about military time, but I'm getting used to it. It actually makes it easier to figure out time back home.
We went to Bible study this morning. In the rain. Lots of rain. We rode the bus and it took us over 45 minutes to get there. Wow. I think I might try to drive there next week (if I go - Steve's fam will be here). Julie settled in fine after about 20 minutes. I was so relieved!
We came straight home after - no "girls lunch out" at the mall today. Now I'm just going to veg out. We've eaten lunch (except Julie - she just blew raspberries). I have just over an hour until we go get Caleb. I'm going to ride the bus. I'm tired. It's been a busy week and I'm just gonna ride.
Tomorrow Caleb will go to a birthday party. He's really excited. I haven't told him yet that it's at "Krazy Kidz Play and Party Centre." He's really going to flip over that! We've promised Audrey ice cream while Caleb is gone. I think I might run over to the mall to return some shoes I bought on Wednesday. They're really cool Hush Puppies - black Mary Jane pumps with some cool leather work. But they look too much like tap shoes for my taste. I've been on a hunt for boots, but haven't found any I like in my price range. Of course I have found ones I like that are £50 and more - close to $100. If I absolutely can't find anything I like in my price range (and size), I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet. But I doubt I pay more than £35. Speaking of sizes - their shoe sizing over here is weird. I wear 9.5 - 10 at home, but here it's an 8. Actually, depending on the shoe, it might be an 8.5 or even a 9. But it's incredibly hard to find any shoes over size 8. Their size 8, not ours. So this is probably the most limiting factor.
Now for a rant about TV:
I WANT TO WATCH THE NEW SEASON OF LOST! "Why don't you just log on to abc.com and watch it there?" you might be wondering. I can't. ABC knows I'm overseas and they won't let me watch it. Grrrrrrr. I thought that last season you could buy and download episodes off iTunes, but there's nothing for the new season there. I can (and already have) bought the first 2 episodes of CSI and have downloaded them, but no LOST. Anybody have any ideas? Anybody know how to get the show off my brother's DVR and onto either a VCR tape or DVD to send to me? I'm desperate!
Never mind!
I'm doing the happy dance! I just opened up iTunes to watch CSI (since there are no good TV shows on right now) and guess what I saw...
The new season of LOST!
I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm happy! I'm going to go now so that I can watch LOST!
:)

Woo-hoo! I'm glad you got Lost to work. I couldn't figure out how to save the stream from their website, or get it off the DVR.
Now you just have to watch it, which is a new problem. I think they are going down the same path that the X-Files did at the end--no vision of where things are going, so they just keep adding plot twists that get increasingly stupid and annoying. They better take Lost somewhere this year, or I'm quitting.
