Another Marvelous 'Do

I'm now contemplating getting some funky swathes of different colors. If I do it, they will be on the under layers, so you'll only see little bits of pink and purple. Or whatever colors I decide on.
Caleb had his harvest festival service today. The 6 different classes each had a different region or country and it's food that they did a song or poem about: the arctic (fish), France (garlic bread), America (baked beans, sunflowers, and potatoes), Jamaica (cucumbers), China (rice), and Wales (leeks). Each class also had a scarecrow that represented their country or region. Caleb's class was Jamaica and their scarecrow was a little black boy who looked like a Rastafarian dude. Very cute. When they mentioned sunflower seeds, the kids all said, "eewww" to which Steve said (very loudly) "What?! Those are good!"
Caleb had a line in his class's turn: It has plenty of fertile land which means there are many farms. After he was done, there was a collective, "aawwww." The lady behind me said, "Is he American?" I turned around and said, "Yes we are!" Another lady this afternoon commented on how cute he is and how mesmerizing it is to listen to him speak. I think we sound rather plain, but they sound really cool!
These are pictures of the hall where the assembly was. The parents and kids sat in a "U" shape, and we were fortunate enough to pick seats that ended up being across from Caleb's class. We had a perfect view of him!

That's Kyle in the center front - Caleb's nemesis.

In this picture, Caleb is to the right. He's in front of the lady with the white blouse and black vest.
I'm signing off now to work on dinner. Fish. We're having another grocery delivery tonight - between 8 and 9 p.m. Seems late to me, but they do deliveries up until 10 p.m. Yikes! I know we'll be here and won't forget the delivery this time, since it's after the kids' bedtime.

What a wonderful experience in Caleb's life. He will have plenty "Show and Tell"to share when he gets back to his American classes.
Oh, almost forgot. Like the "posh" do alot. Quite glamorous!! Amarillo Auntie
