Audrey, My Marvelous Little Diva
Audrey has started a new thing: she sleeps with her shoes on. It started Memorial Day weekend when we were in Clovis. I bought her some new shoes (Disney Princess sandals) and she loved them so much she wanted to sleep in them. I figured it was a minor thing and not worth a battle.
Steve came into the living room the other night after putting the big kids to bed and informed me that we are raising a little diva. Not only was Audrey sleeping in her maroon patent leather dress shoes, she had another pair in bed with her! How much more diva can you get? Plus she has started wearing only dresses and carrying her little purses with her wherever she goes. I'll try to get a picture of her in bed with her shoes.
Time to head out to VBS. All 3 kids go. Julie just hangs out in the nursery while I help with various things like registration. I think today after all the kids get there and checked in (I help check in the pre-K class) I will head home and pack up some toys that are staying here. I figure it will serve a two-fold purpose: the toys will be out of Nate's (the housesitter's) way, and the more toys I pack up now, the less mess we have to keep cleaned up over the next 13 days.
