First of the season...

My first sunburn of the season. I was outside weeding this afternoon, then got distracted by the large and very ugly juniper bushes in front of our house. We are going to rip them out next spring, but for now, we've decided to prune them into bonsai-like shapes. So I pruned. I was out there for several hours.

Like a dork, I didn't even think about sunscreen. Well, I *thought* about it once, but didn't do anything about it. So I'm going to have funky tan lines - I had on gloves, a watch, and my MP3 player was strapped to my left bicep. I'll try to get a picture here of *those* lines in particular. And I got burned on the small of my back where my t-shirt rode up. Nice.

Caleb was back at school today (yay), Audrey is still fine, and we think Julie is finally getting better (woo hoo).
